My first split blade was bought from spymall.com, a site that mostly sells surveillance and police equipment. It was found on their Weaponry page.
Keep in mind, this isn't some 'replica' that you can use to cut boxes and styrofoam with - it's much sharper, and more beautiful. This is something you can really intimidate people with. It's not corny, it doesn't have some dragon-esque pitch to it that makes it look like something from a video game. This baby is just cold, sharp and fierce. Ya know, unless you hold it near a volcano, or something. Then it would be hot and sharp - and even more dangerous.
Point is, this blade is all that and worth it. Which brings me to a list of split-blades that can be bought off the Internet. Then our ultimate question, why are split-blades so fascinating?
First, the list.

WHY ARE SPLIT BLADES SO APPEALING?
It's the fact that they are not typical, and their design makes them more reminiscent of a 'claw' than a knife. It's the imposing appearance that strikes fear and creates power. That is, in simplest words, why split blades are appealing. They give off an intimidating vibe. They aren't simple. They are of two-sharp edges, not one, therefore doubling their sharp look.
They are actually a form of art, in the category of knives. They are unique. They are just, awesome.
Split blades, double edged swords, double helix blades, it's all of the same - they are all unique and confer / display strength to the owner.
